4 December: Chill Pill at Sacred Hill
An opportunity to relax with friends and enjoy the music at Hawkes Bay's Sacred Hill Winery. Chill out listen to music and watch your children play around. An event that has been run since 2004. The venue is 20 minutes from our Hastings Accommodation.

11 December: Lawn Lounge at Trinity Hill
Enjoy Trinity Hill's excellent wine and food at their Winery in Hastings. Of course events are R18 but again is close to our Hastings accommodation. Wonderful if you haven't got kids but am sure you can arrange a nanny for the day.

Hawkes Bay Boutique Wine Makers Association is a small group of like minded small wineries that have banded together to promote them selves. They hold a Boutique Wine maker’s weekend the last Sunday of every month.
December being holidays they are holding it a week before Christmas at the Beach House.
Visit the Beach House Winery in Hawkes Bay not far from our Hastings Accommodation.
23-30 December: Open Air Cinema at Black Barn
Hawke’s Bay’s eighth out-door film festival opens in December at the Black Barn Amphitheatre in Havelock North, just 10 minutes drive from our Hastings Accommodation. The big screen will light up on nine nights over the period of 27-30 December 2011 and 2-6 January 2012.
